Teaching a New Generation

The Woodland Park and Nature Preserve is a wonderful resource for educators of all types! We have provided a place for children to learn about various species of foliage in Michigan, provided a place for Scouting groups to perform community service, and hosted events that include Guided Nature Walks and Bird Walks.

Have a Project in Mind?

The Woodland Park and Nature Preserve Committee is devoted to the use of the Park as an educational resource and outside laboratory. If you have an idea for a project or class lesson for your students, youth, adult, scouting or other group, please contact us to discuss!
